Job Description :

For a well-known steel structure company and factory specializing in the design, manufacture, supply, and installation of steel buildings and all types of steel structures, particularly producing hot rolled steel fabricated structures.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Review, check, and supervise the design process.
• Provide advice and consultations for issues related to design and detailing.
• Review customer drawings, connections, and specifications completely.
• Coordinate between the design department and the client to finalize project specifications.
• Review proposals from customers and prepare quotation estimations as per job requirements.
• Supervise the design engineering group.
• Possess good knowledge in various types of PEB (steel buildings) such as rigid frames, BC frames, single slope, L-canopy, T-canopy, multi-span, etc.
• Have in-depth knowledge of structural and design codes including :
• American Institute of Steel Constructions Manual (AISC 2005)
• Metal Buildings Manufacturing Association (MBMA 2002)
• American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE7-05)
• Steel Joist Institute Code (SJI)
• Steel Deck Institute Manual (SDI)
