About Downe House Riyadh

Opened in September 2022, Downe House Riyadh brings over a century of educational excellence from one of the UK’s most prestigious all-girls schools.

Located in the Aqeeq neighbourhood of northern Riyadh , the school delivers a world-class British curriculum , enriched with Arabic and Islamic studies. Students benefit from exceptional pastoral care, personalised pathways, and outstanding facilities, including libraries, science and design labs, art studios, theatres, music and drama spaces, and swimming pools.

School Structure :

  • Pre-Prep : Nursery to Year 2 (ages 2–7)
  • Prep : Year 3 to Year 8 (ages 7–13)
  • Senior : Year 9 to Year 13 (ages 13–18)
  • Co-educational : Nursery to Year 4

The Role

They are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Teacher (Female Only) to join our growing Pre-Prep team. You will play a key role in shaping the foundations of our youngest learners’ educational journey, creating a nurturing and inspiring early years environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning aligned with the EYFS curriculum.
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity of learning and high-quality provision.
  • Communicate effectively with parents to build strong home-school partnerships.

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent (QTS, PGCE, CACHE Level 3).
  • Minimum 2 years’ teaching experience in EYFS or early years education.
  • Previous experience in a British curriculum school.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to holistic child development.
  • Experience working in multicultural settings.
  • Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.
