About the Role

Our client, a leading IT solutions provider, is looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join their team in Riyadh . The role involves developing enterprise-grade smart office solutions , building scalable microservices , and powering AI-driven integrations .

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend services using Java (11+, ideally 17 / 21) and Spring Boot
  • Design and scale RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
  • Implement event-driven systems with Kafka and caching solutions using Redis
  • Manage databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks (MyBatis Plus or similar)
  • Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams on solution design and delivery
  • Conduct code reviews, ensure clean coding practices, and troubleshoot production issues

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of backend development experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Strong grasp of OOP, design patterns, and distributed systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills
