Architect Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled Architect Engineer to join our team on National Guard building construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in both architecture and engineering, with a focus on designing and overseeing the construction of military and government buildings. This role requires a deep understanding of building codes, military regulations, and design standards, as well as the ability to ensure that projects are executed efficiently, cost-effectively, and on schedule.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with project stakeholders to design functional and efficient architectural and engineering solutions for National Guard facilities.
• Prepare and review architectural plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with government and military requirements.
• Provide technical leadership in the development of design solutions, ensuring integration of architectural and engineering elements.
• Ensure that designs meet the required safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other design professionals during construction to ensure that designs are properly executed.
• Conduct site visits to monitor the progress of construction and address any issues related to design or technical specifications.
• Ensure the design of building systems (structural, HVAC, electrical, plumbing) complies with applicable military and government regulations.
• Prepare reports, proposals, and design documentation to support bidding and approval processes.
• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and evaluate the financial feasibility of design options.
• Review and approve design modifications, ensuring they remain in line with the overall project objectives and budget.
