Job Description

We are seeking a Field Monitoring Specialist to conduct on‑site inspections of food establishments and commercial facilities to ensure compliance with food safety and environmental health standards. The role involves fieldwork, identifying violations, preparing inspection reports, and supporting efforts to improve public health and consumer safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections of restaurants, cafés, and commercial shops to ensure compliance with food safety and environmental health regulations.
• Evaluate hygiene practices, food handling, storage conditions, and waste management.
• Document violations and issue recommendations or corrective action notices.
• Prepare accurate inspection reports and enter findings into digital systems.
• Perform follow‑up visits to verify corrective actions.
• Educate business owners and staff on best practices related to hygiene and food safety.
• Coordinate sample collection when required and follow up on laboratory results.
