Senior Interior Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee architectural interior design projects, managing the entire process from conceptualization to execution.
• Collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to develop functional, aesthetically pleasing design solutions.
• Develop comprehensive architectural plans and detailed technical drawings using professional design software.
• Select and specify finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) that balance style, function, and budget.
• Provide technical expertise, mentorship, and design direction to junior designers and project teams.
• Ensure all designs comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and other relevant legal requirements.
• Design custom furniture pieces tailored to enhance specific project environments.
• Conduct initial client consultations to assess needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
• Present engaging design concepts and proposals, incorporating client feedback throughout the design process.
• Develop and manage project timelines and schedules to meet key milestones and delivery deadlines.
• Oversee the procurement process, including negotiating with vendors to optimize quality and cost.
• Maintain an up-to-date professional portfolio showcasing past projects and design achievements.
• Conduct research and stay current on design trends, materials, and industry best practices.
• Perform regular quality control checks to ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards.
• Coordinate architectural, MEP, and ID drawings and documentation, including shop drawings and as-built submissions.
• Prepare design proposals and furniture packages, including BOQs, sketches, and cost estimates.

Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.Proven experience (typically 7+ years) in interior architecture and design, preferably in a senior or leadership role.Strong proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite).Deep understanding of building systems, codes, and construction processes.Exceptional communication, leadership, and project management skills.Creative thinker with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
