Overview

Amazon is seeking Area Managers for its Fulfillment Centers (FCs) in Madrid, Community of Madrid, Spain.

Responsibilities

  • Review work forecasts and determine productivity requirements to meet overall building objectives.
  • Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor and operate a balanced and efficient shift while meeting goals.
  • Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates.
  • Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and apply Lean tools.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge / FTE) experience.
  • Work a flexible schedule / shift / work area, including weekends, nights, and / or holidays.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques experience.

    • Other Requirements

  • Direct management experience for employees and their performance.
  • Experience with performance metrics and process improvement (how, when, who).
  • Candidates must be flexible to work weekends and / or overnight shifts regularly.
