The Project
This project offers the chance to join a talented Mace team in delivering a major entertainment and luxury hospitality project, collaborating with renowned architects and global consultants. The project involves extensive infrastructure and built assets, delivered rapidly through a hands‑on Construction Management approach, ideal for those experienced in managing both main and sub‑contract packages.
You’ll Be Responsible For
- Lead pre‑contract commercial and tender management across giga‑projects and strategic programmes, ensuring alignment with client objectives and governance frameworks.
- Develop and implement procurement and packaging strategies for complex, high‑value packages including early works, main works, and professional services.
- Manage the end‑to‑end tender process, from market engagement and documentation through to evaluation, negotiation, and award.
- Collaborate with commercial finance teams to develop and validate pre‑tender estimates, ensuring alignment with approved budgets, cost plans, and financial controls.
- Operate within fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environments, working closely with design, development, and delivery teams to meet programme milestones.
- Provide expert input into contracting models and pricing strategies, supporting contract formation, negotiation, and execution.
- Prepare and manage pre‑qualification and RFP documentation, ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance across all tender packs.
- Apply deep knowledge of FIDIC contracts, including selection and application of pricing models and development of payment mechanisms for post‑contract management.
- Lead supply chain engagement, including negotiation of contract terms, clarifications, and commercial positions to secure best value and mitigate risk.
- Proven experience in commercial consultancy and procurement leadership within major infrastructure or capital programmes, ideally in the Middle East.
- Strong understanding of Saudi procurement practices and procedures, commercial risk management, and local market dynamics.
- Demonstrated experience with FIDIC suite of contracts and various pricing mechanisms.
- Professional qualifications such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply) and / or RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors).
- Ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and drive commercial outcomes in high‑pressure settings.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with a focus on quality, clarity, and client engagement.
You’ll Need To Have
Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant work experience working on high‑valued projects / programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.Proven experience of delivering procurement and supply chain management on past projects and on managing other professionals.Saudi national is required.Our values
