Instrumentation & Control (I&C)
systems across a large-scale
Reverse Osmosis (RO) water desalination plant . This role is central to ensuring reliability, water quality, and efficiency across critical treatment and control systems, driving operational excellence and sustainability.
What you’ll do
Supervise preventive, corrective, and outage maintenance of all I&C systems within the RO desalination facility.
Lead troubleshooting, calibration, and performance testing for field instruments, analyzers, sensors, and control valves.
Oversee process control loops for RO membranes, high-pressure pumps, dosing systems, and energy recovery devices.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize plant availability and optimize water output.
Coordinate with EPC / OEM contractors to resolve technical issues, ensuring compliance with operational and quality requirements.
Manage instrumentation calibrations in accordance with ISO and manufacturer standards.
Support process automation upgrades, DCS / PLC programming, and system integration activities.
Prepare maintenance documentation, reports, and ensure data integrity within
SAP CMMS .
Forecast manpower, materials, and spare part needs for annual maintenance and plant shutdowns.
Promote HSSE culture by ensuring adherence to all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Control Engineering (or related discipline).
8–10 years’ experience in I&C maintenance for water desalination (RO technology) or similar process industries.
Strong knowledge of process control systems, field instrumentation, and water treatment control logic.
Hands‑on experience with RO plant automation systems (DCS / PLC / SCADA) preferred.
Solid understanding of instrument calibration, loop tuning, and signal processing.
Familiarity with CMMS (SAP) for maintenance tracking and planning.
Proven leadership and team supervision skills, with a proactive and safety‑first mindset.
Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and organizational abilities.
Strong commitment to quality, operational reliability, and HSSE standards.
