Overview
Position Summary : We are seeking a skilled Technical Design Lead to guide and oversee the development of detailed design and construction documentation for interior design projects. This role requires a strong technical foundation, attention to detail, and the ability to lead a team of designers through the technical phases of a project, ensuring quality, coordination, and compliance with project standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of detailed technical and construction drawings for interior design projects.
- Ensure all drawings meet local codes, project specifications, and industry standards.
- Coordinate closely with design team members, site engineers, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical issues.
- Review and support the development of shop drawings, technical submittals, and project documentation.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Ensure the integration of design intent with buildability throughout all technical stages.
- Collaborate with project managers and other disciplines to ensure timely and accurate delivery of technical packages.
