We are hiring a

Site Engineer -

for transformer assembly, testing, and commissioning. This role involves 100% on-site work, managing transformer projects up to 500 MVA and ICTs (up to 380 KV class), and overseeing site operations, inspections, and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities : Erection, testing, and commissioning of transformers. Conduct internal inspections and troubleshoot transformers, including protection systems. Supervise and lead site team, manage materials, and ensure safety protocols. Handle customer complaints, conduct DGA analysis, and implement corrective actions. Qualifications & Experience : Minimum Qualifications : BE in Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of experience, or a Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 10-12 years of relevant experience. Core Experience : Deep experience in transformer assembly, testing, and commissioning at the site level. In-depth knowledge of transformer tests, control systems, and protection schemes. Passion for on-time project completion. Extensive experience working on transformers up to 500 MVA and ICTs up to 380 KV class. Practical experience with transformer oil vacuuming, oil filling, filtration, and oil sampling. Ability to perform site tests like TTR DC resistance, Capacitance & Tan delta, Insulation Resistance, and Partial Discharge Tests. Knowledge of control and protection systems, and experience in interpreting technical drawings and schemes. Expertise in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of transformer systems. Proven ability to execute site activities in a safe, professional, and timely manner. Seniority level
