Responsibilities
Oversee and maintain the university’s network infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and seamless connectivity.
Bridge technical operations with the academic and creative needs of the university.
Guarantee reliable integration of digital systems, audiovisual (AV) setups, and studio technologies to support learning and performance activities.
Deliver professional, user-centered technical support to faculty, students, and staff.
Strategic Responsibilities
Develop venue management policies and scheduling procedures aligned with academic and artistic priorities.
Establish standards for technical readiness, safety compliance, and interdisciplinary support across performance spaces.
Partner with faculty, production teams, and service providers to deliver high-quality events and experiences.
Contribute to strategic planning for venue upgrades, installations, and long-term technical needs.
Operational Responsibilities
Maintain wired and wireless networks, servers, and cloud services across academic and performance spaces.
Supervise integration of AV systems, studios, and performance venues into the digital infrastructure.
Manage software deployment, licensing, updates, and troubleshooting across disciplines (film, music, theater, visual arts, architecture & design).
Lead preventive and corrective maintenance of system components, resolving outages and performance issues.
Supervise technicians and external vendors, assigning tasks, setting workflows, and monitoring performance.
Coordinate with Facilities Management (FM) and IT teams to align campus infrastructure with digital system requirements.
Maintain compliance with institutional policies, data protection regulations, and industry standards.
Document network architecture, system configurations, and operational procedures for audit and continuity.
Industry Experience
10+ years in network / system administration, preferably in academic or creative institutions.
Proven expertise in IT and network infrastructure, AV systems, and specialized studio technologies.
Strong knowledge of data protection, security frameworks, and compliance.
Experience supporting interdisciplinary environments involving arts and performance technologies.
Management capabilities
Skilled in managing technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
Strong leadership with ability to define workflows, assign tasks, and ensure timely resolution.
Experienced in vendor performance monitoring and SLA compliance.
Project management abilities in system deployment, upgrades, and integration.
Interpersonal Skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with faculty, students, and technical teams.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills under pressure.
Ability to provide clear technical support and training across varied user groups.
Adaptability to support both academic and performance-focused technical needs.
