Under the supervision of IT Support Specialist, the position is responsible to install, configure, test, monitor, support, and troubleshoot IT Infrastructure.
IT Infrastructure Support
- Configure, install, test, monitor, support, update the IT Infrastructure (including routers, switches, gateways, firewalls, network security devices, and related Operating systems and software).
- Ensure consistent and reliable operation to meet business needs by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving IT issues and / or respond to outages.
- Manage, research, and resolve complex end-user escalation incidents.
- Maintain reliability of systems and networks by monitoring, running tests, and troubleshooting.
- Test and perform upgrades and patches to installed operating systems and software.
- Monitor backups and plans for installed systems.
- Maintain familiarity of recovery plans for every critical function.
- Ensure information security by monitoring threats, alerts, and security vulnerabilities for installed systems; implement response plan for various types of threats and attacks.
- Create and maintain system documentation of processes, procedures, plans, network topologies, and configurations and ensure audit compliance.
- Coordinating multiple vendor solutions for support.
IT Governance, Risk Management, & Compliance
Follow IT Governance & information security Framework Standard (ITIL / CoBIT / ISMS)Ensure all activities are compliant with IT & Company P&Ps.Assist in IT & Information Security risk management implementation to ensure identification, assessment, response, and monitoring to enable execution of enterprise risk management strategy.#J-18808-Ljbffr
