Service client networks and networking equipment on customers' sites.

Document work performed using our online trouble ticket tool.

Troubleshoot server and desktop hardware, software, and networking problems impacting clients.

Build, configure, and install HP / Compaq and Dell equipment.

Ability to support various versions of the Microsoft Server Operating Systems and Microsoft Exchange.

Install, configure, troubleshoot, and recover Microsoft Server 2000 / 2003 Operating Systems and conduct application software loads.

Install, configure, troubleshoot, and recover servers running Microsoft Exchange Server 2000 / 2003.

Ability to design and use Active Directories and comfortable with multi-server environments.

Manage client servers, including maintaining current status of software, applying security hotfixes and system patches, backups, antivirus, and spyware.

Work with Account Managers to support customers' needs.

Install, configure, and maintain Cisco and SonicWall firewalls.

Ability to install & maintain Cisco and other various types of wireless networks.

Install & maintain VoIP telephone systems (CME knowledge desired, but not required).

Job Specification

3 years minimum field engineering experience.

Current Certifications : (Any of the following) Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA), Citrix Certified Network Engineer (CCEA), Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA), Cisco Certified Wireless LAN Field Engineer (CCWLFE), Cisco Certified Wireless Support Engineer (CCWSE), Microsoft MCP, Microsoft Certified 2000 / 2003 System Engineer (MCSE), or other MCSE specializations (MCSE I, MCSE S, etc.).

Experience with Microsoft-based platforms critical :

Server 2000 / 2003

Exchange 2000 / 2003

Small Business Server 2000 / 2003

Windows 2000 / XP

Experience with the installation / configuration of Cisco or SonicWall firewalls.

Experience with the installation / configuration of switches and printers.

Experience working on Compaq and Dell equipment, both servers and desktops.

Working familiarity with the following software : Trend Micro, Symantec, McAfee, Veritas, ArcServe (Computer Associates).

Must have a valid CA driver's license and reliable transportation.

Excellent customer & communication skills, rapid response, and decision-making capabilities are required.
