Lead project teams, delegate to and coach junior team members to deliver effective results. Develop and manage mechanical engineering projects or design deliverables for assigned projects, including investigations, report writing, design and construction administration. Support and lead business development activities for the mechanical engineering group in Vancouver, as a client-facing individual. Develop, monitor and maintain project schedule and budget for mechanical engineering design deliverables. Ensure quality and consistency, accuracy, and neatness of mechanical engineering deliverables as part of the corporate QA / QC program. Perform site investigations safely, including site travel, stairs, ladders to access spaces, and adherence to safety regulations. Participate in local and corporate sustainability initiatives to advance corporate and industry developments. Use software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Carrier HAP, and Microsoft Office to prepare deliverables. Requirements

University Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Professional Engineer registered with EGBC. 8-12 years of relevant building systems design experience. Established reputation in the local Buildings Mechanical Engineering industry. Experience in HVAC, plumbing and fire protection design for buildings, including applicable codes, standards, and design tools. Desire to grow career by progressively taking on more leadership responsibilities.
