Logistics Supervisor, AMZL

Overview

Your responsibilities include supporting the daily management of operational duties and deputizing for the Operations Manager as required. You will prioritize and continually improve safety at the delivery station and supervise logistics assistants, coordinators and delivery associates to help ensure shipments meet or exceed operational KPIs. You will monitor coordinator and associate performance, coach as needed, partner with supporting departments to improve logistics processes, and communicate with delivery service providers to set expectations and raise quality. You may interview candidates for associate roles and will brief and monitor the workload of all drivers and associates. You will maintain attention to detail to ensure administrative tasks are completed, and you will measure and monitor workflows and daily metrics to assist the Operations Manager with tracking, trending and reporting on site performance. You will help with training and mentoring new associates, follow up on and resolve process-related issues, and remain flexible to work different shifts and overtime when needed. Together with the Operations Manager, you will ensure your function is sufficiently resourced, including training needs, absence and performance management, coaching and continuous monitoring of department productivity. Be flexible for different shifts and overtime; coordinate resourcing with the Operations Manager. Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS – Experience managing teams; Experience with planning, performance metrics, and process improvement PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS – Experience in logistics; Experience with data analysis EEO and Accommodations
