Outfitting Engineer

As part of the development of our activities in the Naval and Offshore sectors, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer / Naval & Offshore project engineer to join our technical teams, contributing to outfitting and systems integration projects in shipbuilding environments. Reporting to the Project Technical Manager, your main responsibilities will include :

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the fabrication and installation of piping systems, hull outfitting components, and insulation works
• Apply technical knowledge of pipe bending, welding techniques for piping, non-destructive testing (NDT), and pipe treatment
• Monitor and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), self-inspections, and quality plans in compliance with client and classification society requirements
• Ensure strict adherence to international standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 3834, and ISO 45001
• Collaborate with production, QA / QC, and HSE teams to support safety and risk prevention practices (ORP – intermediate level)
• Contribute to surface preparation and painting supervision (certifications in this area are a plus)
• Interpret and review technical drawings and 3D models using tools like FORAN
• Manage documentation and reports through SAP and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word)
