The Senior Operations Manager shall have a minimum of 15 years’ managerial experience, including railway consulting experience, shall be able to oversee all Metro commercial service operational activities and verify that it is being carried out safely and in accordance with the O&M Contract and to the Employers satisfaction. Key Responsibilities :

Operational Oversight : Oversee all Metro commercial service operational activities. Ensure operations are conducted safely and in accordance with the O&M Contract. Verify that service delivery meets the Employer’s expectations and regulatory standards. Contractor Management : Supervise the mobilization and staffing of O&M Contractors. Ensure contractors are adequately resourced and trained for operational readiness. Monitor contractor performance and compliance with operational KPIs. Review and Approval : Review and approve O&M Contractors’ submissions including operating procedures, instructions, timetables, and code of conduct handbooks. Ensure all documentation aligns with contractual requirements and operational standards. Safety and Compliance : Ensure all operational activities are carried out in a safe and compliant manner. Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify adherence to safety protocols. Stakeholder Coordination : Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination across operational functions. Facilitate communication between O&M Contractors and the Employer. Performance Monitoring and Reporting : Monitor operational KPIs and prepare performance reports. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Transportation Management), Master’s preferred. Minimum 15 years of senior technical and management experience in rail operations and maintenance. Strong understanding of O&M contracts and operational safety standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to analyse operational data and drive performance improvements. Familiarity with international metro systems. Strong knowledge of operational systems, technologies, and best practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
