Talent Acquisition Specialist at National Housing Company (NHC)
Job Brief
An experienced professional to lead and manage health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) aspects at NHC project sites. The role involves overseeing safety inspections, incident investigations, audits, and emergency drills, while ensuring the effective implementation of HSSE policies and corrective actions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HSSE regulations, particularly in construction, and demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Receives, reviews and distributes safety inspection reports with recommended corrective actions.
- Conduct investigations of HSSE minor incidents, to contribute to the identification of root causes and provide recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.
- Inspects the job site to detect and correct safety hazards.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections, monitoring site HSSE management and performance to ensure effective implementation and maintenance of the HSSE Management Plan / System in the plant.
- Proven expertise in planning and delivering campaigns, training programs, and toolbox talks.
- Skilled in coordinating with project teams to proactively establish and implement HSSE measures in advance.
- Manage the execution of emergency drill scenarios and site emergency mock drills, in order to ensure readiness in case of an emergency, whilst proposing recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Requires courses on OSHA, NEBOSH and IOSH, Fire Safety.Seniority level
