Electrical Engineer will be responsible for design review, coordination, and supervision of all electrical systems within an infrastructure project executed under a Design and Build (D&B) contract. The role involves ensuring the designs technical accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project specifications, while supporting the execution team throughout design, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning stages.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review and validate electrical design drawings, calculations, and technical documents submitted by consultants or D&B partners.
• Ensure design compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and relvant codes and standards.
• Prepare and review design deliverables such as single-line diagrams, load schedules, lighting and power layouts, earthing and lightning protection systems, and utility network designs (MV / LV).
• Coordinate with design and construction teams to ensure interdisciplinary compatibility (civil, mechanical, and instrumentation).
• Participate in design coordination and progress meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Review material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements for electrical works.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and international standards (IEC, IEEE, BS, NEC, NFPA, etc.).
• Support procurement in evaluating technical offers for electrical materials and equipment.
• Supervise and inspect electrical installation works to ensure quality and adherence to approved design.
• Assist in testing and commissioning activities for electrical and low-voltage systems.
• Provide technical support and resolve on-site design-related issues.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.
