: Planning Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules outlining all tasks, milestones, and dependencies.

Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and constraints.

Work closely with project teams to identify resource requirements for each project phase.

Allocate resources efficiently to ensure optimal project performance.

Conduct critical path analysis to identify key project activities and potential bottlenecks.

Propose solutions to mitigate schedule risks and delays.

Implement tracking mechanisms to monitor the progress of project activities.

Regularly update project schedules based on actual progress and adjust timelines as needed.

Identify potential risks to project schedules and develop contingency plans.

Collaborate with project teams to implement risk mitigation strategies.

Prepare and distribute regular project schedule reports to project stakeholders.

Communicate schedule status, variances, and potential issues to the project team.

Collaborate with various project teams, including engineering, construction, and environmental, to ensure seamless coordination of activities.

Participate in project meetings to provide insights into schedule-related matters.

Evaluate and improve planning and scheduling processes to enhance overall project efficiency.

Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate innovative scheduling techniques.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Planning & Schedule Engineer in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.

Proven expertise in project planning and scheduling using tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Familiarity with environmental and sustainability projects is advantageous.
