Responsibilities
You will be responsible for developing and leading a holistic security program for our global data center operations. This includes overseeing physical security systems (access control, CCTV, intrusion detection), managing internal and external security resources, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards and applicable regulations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams from engineering, construction, operations, and corporate leadership to drive continuous improvement of our security posture and to mitigate risks effectively across multiple data center sites.
- Establish and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs) for physical security, ensuring alignment with global standards and local regulations.
- Serve as the subject matter expert and advisor to executive leadership security matters (e.g., SOC2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, TSI / EN50600)
- Create risk-based security strategies that incorporate organizational best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Manage security vendors and contracts (guarding services, integrators, and technology partners), ensuring high performance, cost-effectiveness, and operational excellence.
- Develop vendor scorecards, conduct regular performance reviews, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Coordinate and conduct regular audits to identify vulnerabilities, track compliance with established security protocols, and implement remediation plans.
- Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of physical security systems, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and monitoring solutions.
Experience & Qualifications
10+ years of progressive experience in regulatory compliance, or operations, including leadership of global or multi-site teams.7+ years of progressive responsibility in physical security, investigations, or risk management, preferably within critical infrastructure or data center environments.Proven track record of managing large security vendor / contract programs and distributed security teams.Familiarity with workflow ticketing systems, data analytics, and performance metrics extraction; experience with advanced security hardware / software solutions.Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, SOC2, TSI / EN50600) and relevant regulatory requirements.Proficiency with data analytics tools and techniques to identify patterns, risks, and corrective action opportunities.PSP (Physical Security Professional), CPP (Certified Protection Professional), CISSP, CISM or similar industry certifications.Experience with forensic and evidence handlingSeniority level
