Job Purpose
Responsible for leading and managing the operational strategic planning function across the committee, sports federations, and affiliated entities under Shared Services and Solutions. The role focuses on translating the organization’s vision and strategic objectives into actionable operational plans, performance initiatives, and measurable outcomes. This includes overseeing the development, alignment, monitoring, and evaluation of operational strategies to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and long‑term sustainability.
Strategic Planning and Execution
- Lead the development and implementation of operational strategic plans in alignment with the organization’s overall strategy and goals.
- Collaborate with departments and federations to translate strategic objectives into detailed action plans and measurable KPIs.
- Monitor the execution of strategic initiatives and identify areas for improvement or realignment.
- Ensure consistency and integration of operational strategies across all departments and entities.
Performance Management and Reporting
Establish frameworks and tools to track, measure, and report on the progress of strategic and operational initiatives.Analyze performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational enhancement.Prepare and present regular performance reports and recommendations to senior management and leadership committees.Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication, alignment, and accountability in delivering strategic objectives.Facilitate strategic workshops, planning sessions, and review meetings to support informed decision‑making.Provide guidance and support to entities in developing their own operational plans in line with the overall strategy.Process Improvement and Optimization
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and service delivery.Lead benchmarking and best‑practice initiatives to strengthen the organization’s strategic planning capabilities.Drive continuous improvement culture within operations teams to achieve sustainable results.Governance and Compliance
Ensure operational planning processes adhere to established governance frameworks, policies, and timelines.Support internal audits and reviews related to strategic and operational planning.Maintain proper documentation and records for all planning activities and performance results.Our Commitment
