Opportunity : Project Manager – Show This is no ordinary project. You will lead the development of a show environment that is set to be among the largest and most technically advanced on the planet—featuring immersive projection mapping, cutting-edge AV, special effects, and a built environment designed to awe.
As Project Manager - Show, you will oversee and manage the full development of one of the most ambitious and technically advanced entertainment spectacles ever built. From early design through construction and final delivery, you will lead cross-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of creative vision, infrastructure, and cutting-edge systems. This isn't just another attraction—it's a flagship show destined to set global benchmarks in immersive entertainment. You will drive its realization, ensuring every detail is executed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and innovation.
Responsibilities
Define and manage show-related project timelines, budgets, and documentation throughout the design and construction lifecycle.
Draft EOIs, PQQs, RFPs, and technical proposals to support vendor selection and scope definition.
Coordinate internal teams and external partners, ensuring clear communication of guidelines, deliverables, and deadlines.
Assess and mitigate risks across all phases, proactively resolving issues with stakeholders.
Lead task prioritization and team check-ins to maintain momentum and accountability.
Provide regular project updates to leadership, clients, and partners—tracking progress and flagging risks.
Manage client and IP relationships, ensuring alignment with design intent and contractual obligations.
Collaborate with discipline leads to monitor schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Ensure construction plans reflect design intent, constructability, methodology, HSE standards, and delivery strategy.
Work closely with contractors to drive scope delivery to time and budget.
Identify and resolve gaps or conflicts between design documentation and contract requirements.
Monitor and coordinate technical interfaces and dependencies to ensure seamless integration across systems.
Qualifications
6+ years of experience in set design, show production, or similar, leading complex projects from initiation to closure within a show and entertainment environment, preferably in a theme park or location-based entertainment field.
Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously is well regarded.
Demonstrated ability to manage show and entertainment project scope, schedule, budget, and resources effectively using appropriate digital tools.
Proactive with a drive for delivery and an ability to bring stakeholders together around a common vision.
Prior experience managing a Show team. Excellent understanding of scripts, show technologies, media and show control.
In-depth knowledge of show and entertainment design, engineering, and safety standards is preferred.
PMP or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certified is well regarded but not required. Proficiency in English, Japanese and / or Arabic is highly regarded but not essential.
Understanding of water-based shows and technologies is highly beneficial.
