Quality Assurance Engineer - Saudi

Job Description

The Quality Engineer provides assurance that the quality management system is adequate, effectively implemented and enables the delivery of expected results. This role ensures requirements are met to achieve the effective and efficient delivery of the Client mission at best value, identifies improvements, and facilitates the delivery of quality improvements for sustained benefit. The Quality Engineer plans, evaluates, verifies, and certifies quality, proposing and embedding improvements where necessary to ensure delivery is effective, minimizes cost and / or consequences of failure, and meets stakeholder and project specifications and requirements. They deploy QA / QC activities to support right-first-time delivery and implement quality improvement plans aligned with objectives, capturing and sharing learning to improve quality performance.

Technical Duties

Establishing Management Systems

• Develop, maintain, improve and coach the use of local management systems to enable effective delivery
• Verify that quality requirements are adequately specified and complied with at project, facility / operations level, within the Client and in the supplier chain

Planning for quality

Applying quality assurance and control

Monitoring, measuring, auditing, and reviewing

Driving continuous improvement

Qualifications

5-8 years of quality management experience (5 years in an Operational or Project role within energy).

Academic Certificate :

Minimum : CQI Diploma (Level 5) or international equivalent

Preferred : Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physical sciences related to Quality Management or a professional qualification

Lower-level qualifications may be considered for candidates with substantial professional work experience in quality-related roles.

Courses / Certificates :

Minimum : Qualified internal QA auditor

Security clearance : This role requires a minimum of Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats. Due to the nature of work and asset protection, the successful candidate must be a UK national or, in MoD-approved cases, a Dual National from a non-ITAR country.
