Job Overview :

We are seeking a Data Protection Officer to ensure that our company processes and handles personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other relevant data privacy laws. The ideal candidate must have excellent knowledge of data protection regulations and be able to implement and maintain data protection policies and procedures across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement data protection policies and procedures in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Monitor and evaluate the company’s data protection processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct data protection impact assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating risks.
• Serve as the main point of contact for data protection inquiries from employees, clients, and regulatory authorities.
• Review and negotiate data protection clauses in contracts and agreements.
• Conduct data protection training for employees and ensure that they understand their responsibilities in handling personal data.
• Maintain records of data processing activities and ensure that they are up to date.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with data protection policies and procedures.
• Investigate and report any data breaches and develop plans for remediation.
• Liaise with external legal counsel and regulatory authorities on data protection matters.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in data protection laws and regulations and recommend necessary actions to ensure compliance.
