Job Description
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and submit fixed monthly journal entries in SAP.
- Manage IFRS journals for monthly and quarterly lease accounting.
- Prepare monthly working files for the rolling / spot forex deals.
- Revalue and prepare journals for outstanding forex deals.
- Review and prepare journals for petty cash claims.
- Support month-end close activities & annual budget / forecast processes.
- Handle ad-hoc internal reporting such as MCDR, weekly O&S, and debtors reporting.
- Manage and update the local fixed assets register in SAP and coordinate annual fixed asset counts.
- Coordinate with SSC during transition and support ongoing areas within the business.
Taxation
Prepare monthly VAT input workings and reconcile all related GLs.Compile and reconcile WHT workings with supporting documentation monthly.File VAT and WHT returns on the ZATCA portal monthly.Prepare annual WHT working for the annual WHT return.Prepare workings for the annual CiT return for review with FC.Communicate with ZATCA on direct and indirect tax queries in Arabic.Collaborate with FC and MA on tax audits and assessments for CiT, VAT, WHT, and customs.Compliance
Perform monthly controls as assigned, specifically as a preparer in certain areas.Prepare the annual CSA documentation.Support local content evaluations and audits.Participate in statutory financial audits, internal audits, and tax audits.Contribute to the annual insurance questionnaire.Provide periodic updates to the local statutory survey committees in Arabic.Process Improvement
Continuously evaluate and improve control processes for efficiency and effectiveness.Collaborate with divisional and group resources to develop automated solutions or reporting platforms like Power BI.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (preferred).Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Arabic (native level).Minimum of 3 years proven experience in taxation and financial reporting or related financial roles.Strong knowledge of local taxation, IFRS, financial analysis, and risk assessment.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel, including Power BI.Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.Knowledge of legal and compliance regulations.Problem-solving skills and data-driven decision-making abilities.Additional Information
