Main Tasks

Evaluate performance of radar and C2 equipment.

Perform intermediate-level maintenance in the assigned specialty as required.

Provide support to MTSD engineers and technicians in the field, troubleshooting and repairing radar and C2 systems to ensure operational reliability.

Diagnose and isolate complex electronic problems between hardware, software, and Line Replaceable Units using diagnostic procedures (system diagnostics, unit self-checks, BITE, tool and test equipment).

Maintain log-book follow-up and reporting.

Inspect and conduct periodic reporting of equipment serviceability.

Support Mobile Maintenance Team operations and travel to remote sites for software maintenance, troubleshooting, and on-the-job training (OJT).

Qualifications

Senior Technician diploma in Electro-Mechanics / Electricity.

Specialized training and certification in radars and / or C2 systems.

Fluency in English (French and Arabic are advantages) with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience

3-5 years of specialized knowledge in ground high-power 3‑D radar sensors and associated equipment, including all system hardware and software elements.

3-5 years of experience on radar and / or C2 systems.

Practical knowledge of radar / C2 operation & maintenance, antennas, processors, computers, monitoring, data transmission, plot extractors, power systems, and related subsystems.

Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electronic circuits using visual inspection and diagnostic software or test equipment.

Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power meters, and signal / pulse generators for testing, tuning, aligning, and calibrating communication equipment.

Ability to work in complex, multicultural, multidisciplinary matrix organizations with frequent customer interactions.

Understanding of contractor support services.
