Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a talented and experienced Sr. Lead - DC & Passive Design to join our innovative team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of data centers and passive systems across our diverse projects. Your expertise will contribute to the development of sustainable and efficient infrastructures that support Qiddiya's ambitious vision for a world‑class entertainment and cultural destination.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of data center (DC) architectures, integrating cutting‑edge technology to ensure reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
- Oversee the design of passive systems, including HVAC, electrical, and structural components, ensuring alignment with project objectives and industry standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create innovative design solutions that meet user needs and sustainability goals.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to inform decision‑making and design approaches.
- Establish and maintain design protocols and standards to ensure quality and consistency across all projects.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, ensuring deliverables are met on schedule.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and designers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry trends to drive innovative solutions within the organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.10+ years of experience in data center design and passive systems engineering.Proven track record of managing and leading complex design projects from concept to completion.Strong technical knowledge of data center architecture, passive design principles, and sustainability practices.Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other engineering tools.Professional certifications (e.g., LEED, PMP, RCDD) are preferred.Benefits
