Offshore Project Director

Offshore Project Director should have vast and strong experience in the Offshore industry and construction management experience on mega projects. Coordinates with other functional managers to ensure correct implementation of the project construction specifications and standards. The ideal candidate must possess thorough knowledge of engineering design development, construction practices, economic principles, international codes, standards, procedures, and specifications. Has the overall responsibility of program management and is responsible for the overall project cost, schedule, safety, and quality. Role Responsibilities : Delivers to clients satisfaction and contractual requirements Accountable for project cost performance and accounts receivable Serves as the prime point of contact between the client and the company Ensures the project execution is in accordance with policies, procedures, systems Manages and coordinates project leadership personnel Supports Business Development and proposals for new offshore opportunities Negotiates changes with the client Responsible for all contracts in their program of works Uses and shares best practices among the PMs Plans the project execution and revises the plan as necessary, ensuring adherence to the plan Keeps the client and company advised of project status Leads the project management team and is responsible for the successful completion of the project Abides by our business ethics Ensures project delivery aligns with the Quality Management systems Forecasts workload ensuring deployment of sufficient resources (requiring close cooperation with the Engineering Manager) Resolves inter-project conflicts Manages all people assigned to offshore contracts effectively Appraises direct reports regularly Maintains and promotes Company Values Promotes capturing and implementing lessons learned on Projects Skills & Experience Proven experience in managing engineering and procurement projects Strong knowledge of offshore and experience with detailed design projects, ideally a mix of greenfield and brownfield projects. Fabrication / Construction experience is beneficial. Strong financial and commercial understanding of projects Extensive relevant experience is required Able to lead others in challenging environments Able to make decisions and drive decision processes Well-developed management and administrative skills Works within a team to establish direction, alignment, and commitment Strong interpersonal skills Risk and Change Management Program and Project Planning Well organized, credible, and decisive Qualifications : Degree in Engineering is required Working in a corporate role or on one of our projects, you will apply your knowledge and expertise to deliver excellent results to our clients.
