Safety Manager HSE

Overview

The Safety Manager HSE plays a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of employees within the organization. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing safety policies and procedures to minimize risks and promote a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and safety regulations, risk management, and emergency response protocols. They will work closely with various departments to ensure compliance with local and international safety standards. Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies and procedures. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions. Provide training and guidance to employees on safety practices and emergency response procedures. Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and implement preventive measures. Monitor compliance with safety regulations and report any violations to management. Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety within the organization. Prepare and maintain safety documentation, including reports and records. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in safety regulations. Coordinate safety drills and emergency response exercises. Act as the primary point of contact for all safety-related inquiries and concerns. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in safety management or related field 5+ years of experience Experience in Heavy Equipment Companies Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment Proven experience as safety manager or related position Excellent organizational and motivational skills Skills

In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations. Strong risk assessment and management skills. Excellent training and presentation abilities. Proficient in incident investigation techniques. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to develop safety training programs. Familiarity with safety management systems. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
