QA / QC Mechanical Engineer

Shall demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of codes such as SMCNA, Uniform Mechanical Codes, applicable NFPA, ASHRAE Handbooks, Uniform Plumbing Code, International Plumbing Code and / or equivalent standards.

• Ensure conformity of installation / erection in accordance with specifications, relevant drawings and / or approved method statement.
• Conduct Q.C. Inspection, quality control reporting and recording of the HVAC, fire protection, sewage (bio-treatment) and plumbing works, etc.
• Responsible for implementation of Project Quality Plan, Quality Control Procedures and Inspection & Test Plans, etc.
• Conduct pre-commissioning, testing and commissioning, reliability and performance tests for all HVAC system, fire protection and bio treatment equipment, etc.
• Implementation of quality management procedures as required ISO 9001 : 2000 standard.
• Conduct vendor inspection at manufacturer’s facility as required by the client.
• To oversee the Quality Assurance System of sub-contractors and ensure that they conform to specifications. Job Specification

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineer Total of 8 years experience in the same field (i.e. 3 years experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical Projects, infrastructure, etc., and 5 years in the inspection specialty).
