Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Product Manager – Azure to drive the growth, adoption, and profitability of Microsoft Azure solutions within our portfolio. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, business acumen, and strong vendor / partner management skills. The Product Manager will act as the key bridge between vendors, internal sales teams, and customers—crafting go-to-market strategies, enabling sales teams, optimizing inventory, and ensuring seamless execution. The ideal candidate combines a deep understanding of cloud technologies with proven experience in channel management, business development, and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with Microsoft and related partners.
- Ensure alignment between vendor strategies and company objectives.
- Serve as a trusted source of market intelligence for the vendor.
- Negotiate and structure win-win agreements while safeguarding company and partner interests.
- Partner with the sales team to identify opportunities, close deals, and achieve revenue targets.
- Secure competitive pricing while ensuring healthy margins.
- Monitor competitor activities and design strategies to expand market share in cloud solutions.
- Support sales enablement by delivering product training, demos, and positioning strategies.
Inventory & Product Lifecycle Management
Plan and manage Azure licensing, subscriptions, and related offerings to meet market demand.Maintain optimal inventory, balancing availability with cash flow efficiency.Develop strategies to liquidate slow-moving SKUs or underutilized offerings.Maintain the right product mix to maximize both demand fulfillment and profitability.Customer Relationship Management
Engage regularly with customers to capture market insights, trends, and feedback.Collaborate with key accounts in events, workshops, and joint marketing activities.Co-develop sell-out strategies with partners to enhance adoption and customer success.Business Development
Identify, engage, and onboard new vendors, complementary product lines, and strategic alliances.Drive entry into new verticals and markets leveraging Azure’s portfolio.Stay ahead of market and technology trends to introduce innovative offerings.Compliance & Governance
