- About the Role
- In this role you will be responsible for managing and growing key government accounts (MOH, MODA, NUPCO, National Guard), driving revenue growth through strategic account planning, upselling, and contract negotiations. You will lead tender management processes, engage with procurement stakeholders and healthcare professionals, and coordinate cross-functionally to ensure seamless execution of customer requirements. Additionally, you will provide market intelligence, monitor competitor activity, and deliver regular performance insights to senior management to support business objectives in the public healthcare sector.
- What You Will Do
- 1. Account Management – Government Sector & NUPCO :
- Manage, develop, and grow relationships with key government stakeholders including Ministry of Health (MOH), National Guard, MODA, NUPCO.
- Ensure product listings, pricing, and contractual obligations are maintained and updated in NUPCO systems for all Incontinence and SmartCare product-related
- 2. Revenue Growth :
- Develop account plans to achieve business objectives to maximize profitability & Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, & Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms
- Create and implement strategic account plans to drive growth, optimize product mix, and expand penetration within public healthcare facilities.
- 3. Stakeholder Engagement & Tender Management :
- Build long-term relationships with procurement decision-makers, healthcare professionals, and key opinion leaders in the public healthcare sector.
- Lead the end-to-end process for government tenders including NUPCO submissions : bid preparation, documentation, compliance, and follow-up.
- 4. Cross-Functional Coordination :
- Work closely with marketing, supply chain, regulatory, and customer service to ensure smooth execution of customer requirements.
- Support new product launches, training initiatives, and after-sales support activities tailored to public sector clients.
- 5. Market Intelligence & Reporting :
- Monitor and report market trends, competitor activities, policy updates, and pricing dynamics within the public sector.
- Provide regular performance reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Who You Are
- Education :
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Medicine, or related medical field.
- MBA or advanced degree is an advantage
- Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in key account & tender management in the public sector in Saudi Arabia.
- Proven track record in handling government accounts, especially with MOH, Institution & NUPCO.
- Experience in adult care, hygiene, or medical device segments (e.g., incontinence products, patient monitoring, or eldercare solutions) is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of the Saudi healthcare system, government procurement procedures, and public tender processes (particularly NUPCO).
- Skills & Competencies :
- Strong knowledge of Saudi healthcare procurement systems and tendering processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- High proficiency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and commercial acumen.
- Ability to manage complex stakeholders and large-scale contracts.
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with CRM and ERP systems.
- Ability to travel within KSA as required.##
