Your job responsibilities will include :

Coordinate daily activities related to cargo arrival, unloading, and delivery at the port. Liaise with port terminals, shipping lines, and transportation providers to schedule and track shipments. Follow up on container status, ensure timely retrieval, and avoid demurrage or storage penalties. Resolve issues related to cargo damage, delays, or miscommunication with terminal operators. Prepare and submit customs documentation via local clearance systems (e.g., FASAH, Tamm). Ensure accurate classification of goods using the correct HS Codes and support documentation. Coordinate with customs brokers, clearing agents, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth and compliant processing. Verify commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin before submission. Ensure full compliance with customs regulations and stay updated on changes in import / export laws. Maintain organized records of all clearance and port operation files. Communicate with internal departments (logistics, warehouse, customer service) for shipment planning and updates.
