Overview

We are a dynamic and growing YouTube channel focused on (tech, AI, and kids' stories). We're seeking a talented Video Editor and Thumbnail Designer who can work remotely to help bring our content to the next level. If you're passionate about creative storytelling and visual design, this role is perfect for you.

Responsibilities

  • Video Editing :

Edit high-quality videos for YouTube, ensuring engaging storytelling with smooth transitions, pacing, and visual effects.

  • Use animation, sound effects, and other post-production techniques to enhance video content.
  • Collaborate with the content team to align the video style with the brand's tone and audience expectations.
  • Ensure videos are optimized for YouTube algorithms (SEO, captions, thumbnails, etc.).
  • Meet deadlines while maintaining high production quality.
  • Thumbnail Design :

    • Create eye-catching, professional-quality thumbnails for each video that maximize click-through rates.

  • Use color theory, typography, and imagery to design compelling visuals aligned with video themes.
  • Keep up with current trends and best practices for YouTube thumbnail design.
  • A / B test thumbnails to analyze their performance and adapt as needed.

    • Job Specification

    Requirements :

  • Proven experience as a Video Editor and / or Thumbnail Designer, preferably in YouTube content creation.
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, or similar editing and design tools.
  • Strong sense of visual storytelling and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of YouTube's platform, algorithms, and SEO best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Creativity and passion for producing high-quality content.

    • Nice to Have :

  • Experience in motion graphics and 2D / 3D animation is a plus.
  • Familiarity with YouTube analytics to drive creative decisions.
  • Interest in tech, AI, or kids' stories would be advantageous.
