Position Objective :

The Network Specialist Engineer (Security) is responsible for monitoring, configuring, and maintaining the organization’s security infrastructure to ensure network availability, reliability, and protection against threats. The role involves managing firewalls, VPNs, NAC solutions, and intrusion detection systems, as well as supporting incident response, performing system upgrades, and ensuring compliance with industry security standards.

Job Description & Responsibilities :

• Monitor security infrastructure performance to ensure system availability and reliability.
• Configure, support, and maintain firewalls, anti-virus, proxy servers, and intrusion detection systems in accordance with best practices.
• Provide first- and second-level support for network security systems.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot VPN solutions (SSL and IPSec).
• Configure and maintain Network Access Control (NAC) solutions.
• Monitor and analyze network activity for security incidents, breaches, and vulnerabilities.
• Perform regular system maintenance, upgrades, and security patching (service packs, patches, hotfixes, security configurations).
• Maintain and update network security documentation, including configurations, processes, and incident logs.
• Collaborate with IT and third-party providers to ensure robust security posture across all systems.
