Accounting Manager

Overview

LAWAZEM is seeking an experienced and dynamic Accountant Manager to lead our accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and driving improvements in financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices. Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance and efficiency Prepare and present accurate monthly and annual financial statements, budgets, and forecasts Lead and mentor the accounting team to promote professional development and performance excellence Oversee the preparation and coordination of the annual audit and tax filings Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement Collaborate with management and other departments to support strategic business goals Ensure adherence to accounting regulations and best practices Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience, with a focus on managerial responsibilities Demonstrated expertise in accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance Strong leadership and team management skills Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
