Resident Engineer (Water Treatment)

The Resident Engineer (Water Treatment) plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing water treatment projects in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. This position involves ensuring that all engineering works are executed according to the design specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. The Resident Engineer will act as the primary point of contact between the client and the project team, facilitating effective communication and ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned with project objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of water treatment processes, engineering principles, and project management practices. Responsibilities

Oversee the execution of water treatment projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality standards. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project execution. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety regulations. Prepare and review engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports. Manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely completion of milestones. Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders. Resolve any engineering issues that arise during the construction phase. Ensure effective communication between clients and project teams to address concerns and feedback. Participate in project meetings and provide updates on progress and challenges. Maintain accurate records of project activities and documentation for reporting purposes. Preferred Candidate

Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in water treatment projects. Strong knowledge of water treatment processes and technologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Familiarity with local regulations and standards related to water treatment. Proficient in project management software and engineering tools. Willingness to travel to project sites as needed. Skills

Proficient in AutoCAD and other engineering design software. Strong understanding of water treatment processes and technologies. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction. Experience with quality control and assurance processes. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
