Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Executive Sous Chef, based in Riyadh. The Executive Sous Chef will assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, overseeing food preparation, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, and maintaining a safe and sanitary kitchen. The role includes menu planning, staff supervision, monitoring inventory, and implementing cost-effective measures. The Executive Sous Chef will also contribute to training and mentoring kitchen staff to optimize their performance and maintain consistent culinary excellence.

Qualifications

• Culinary expertise, including cooking techniques, food presentation, and flavor development
• Menu planning, food costing, and inventory management skills
• Leadership, team management, and staff training experience within a kitchen environment
• Focus on food safety, hygiene, and adherence to culinary regulations
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility to adapt to fast-paced, high-pressure environments
• Previous experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality establishments
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification is preferred
• Proficiency in multilingual communication (Arabic and English) is an added advantage
