Substation Specialist

We are looking for a for one of our clients with the following details:

Location: Onshore, KSA

Contract Duration: Direct hire - Permanent

Qualification and Experience Required:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in substation supervision and inspection.
• Mandatory knowledge of transmission substation systems up to 400kV.
• Familiarity with installation and testing procedures and standards.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and protocols.
• Effective communication and reporting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Previous experience in large-scale power generation projects.

We are seeking experienced Substation Specialist to join our team for supervision works in high-voltage transmission substations up to 400kV. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with various substation components and testing protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise installation and testing activities of substation equipment.
• Ensure quality and safety compliance during commissioning and construction stages.
• Provide technical support and interface with engineering teams to resolve site issues.
• Maintain documentation and reporting for inspections and project progress.

Inspect and oversee the proper installation of:

• Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS)
• Power Transformers
• 11kV Switchgears
• LVAC (Low Voltage AC Systems)
• DCDB (DC Distribution Boards)
• Distribution Transformers
