Position Overview
Execute the construction activities of the project, from initiation to closeout ensuring the adherence to project schedule, specifications and drawings.
Responsibilities
- Plan the project execution, prepare detailed look‑ahead schedules based on project schedule, in coordination with Section Manager.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants and Project team for the preparation, and submission of method statements of various construction activities.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants and Project team for the preparation, and submission of work notifications of various construction activities as per the schedule requirement.
- Conduct site surveillance; liaise with subcontractors for the work progress. Verify / analyze the resource adequacy / requirement for achieving the schedule. Implement corrective actions for any variations from the plan and verify the effectiveness.
- Coordinate with QA QC team and conduct internal material inspections to ensure the compliance to specification.
- Conduct work inspections to ensure the compliance to drawings and specifications and raise work inspection requests to QA QC department.
- Coordinate / liaise with subcontractors for completing the consultant’s inspection comments, corrective actions for the NCRs and deficiencies recorded by the QA QC team within the agreed time.
- Provide accurate project progress status to Section Manager daily.
- Ensure the implementation of Project HSE program and safe work practices in the project.
- Conduct red line drawings review for accuracy and incorporation of all information.
- Conduct internal snagging; liaise with subcontractor to close all the snags identified by the Project team and consultants.
- Coordinate / liaise with subcontractors, Project team and consultants for the testing and commissioning activities of the project.
