Job Description Team Leadership

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Mendix developers, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor progress to meet deadlines and objectives. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages learning, innovation, and performance excellence.

Project Management

Oversee the end-to-end application development lifecycle using Mendix. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Technical Expertise

Design and develop Mendix applications, leveraging best practices to ensure scalability and performance. Integrate Mendix applications with external systems and APIs. Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during development and post-deployment.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business needs. Present progress updates, technical solutions, and project outcomes to senior management and clients.

Training and Development

Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and provide training to team members. Stay updated on the latest Mendix platform features and industry trends, implementing them as needed.

Quality Assurance

Establish and enforce coding standards, development methodologies, and quality assurance practices. Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with project requirements and best practices.

Qualifications Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience :

5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in Mendix application development. Prior experience in leading a team or managing development projects.

Technical Skills :

Proficiency in the Mendix low-code platform, including app modeling, microflows, and custom widgets. Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and database management. Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages.

Soft Skills :

Excellent leadership and mentoring capabilities. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
