Job Purpose :
The Sales Engineer is responsible for generating sales opportunities by understanding customer needs, providing technical and commercial solutions, and promoting the company’s products and services.
The role combines technical knowledge with sales skills to achieve revenue targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable vehicles or equipment based on specifications and performance.
- Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals, including specifications, pricing, and cost–benefit analysis.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to clients.
- Manage the full sales cycle — from initial contact and quotation to negotiation, closing, and delivery.
- Collaborate with internal teams (after-sales, finance, logistics) to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.
- Provide post-sales technical support and follow up on customer feedback.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and pricing strategies to identify new opportunities.
Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration with a strong technical background.Minimum 2–5 years of experience in technical or automotive sales (commercial vehicles, heavy equipment, or industrial products preferred).Solid understanding of vehicle systems, specifications, and technical data.Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Arabic and English.Strong presentation and relationship-building abilities.Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with fleet sales, leasing, or vehicle financing is an advantage.Valid Saudi driving license.#J-18808-Ljbffr
