Overview
Quantity Surveyor with extensive experience in infrastructure and civil construction projects, preferably within fitness and sports facility developments. The successful candidate will manage all cost and contractual aspects of our projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with budgets, specifications, and timelines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, manage, and monitor project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts.
- Conduct quantity take-offs, measurements, and cost estimations for infrastructure and civil works.
- Prepare tender documents, bills of quantities, and contracts.
- Evaluate contractor and supplier bids and provide recommendations.
- Manage and monitor variations, claims, and change orders.
- Conduct regular site visits to verify progress and ensure accurate valuations.
- Prepare interim and final payment certificates for contractors.
- Support contract negotiations and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Provide cost advice during project design and construction phases.
- Prepare monthly cost and progress reports for management.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor in infrastructure and civil construction projects.Experience in fitness and sports facilities projects (gyms, stadiums, sports complexes, etc.) is highly preferred.Strong knowledge of contracts (FIDIC or similar), tendering, and procurement processes.Excellent analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills.Proficiency in MS Office and QS software (e.g., CostX, Candy, etc.).Additional information
