Job Overview

The Saudi Development & Export Services Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Officer to join our team in Ad Dammam, Saudi Arabia . This is a full-time position. The Safety Officer will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees and visitors, maintaining a safe working environment, and promoting a strong safety culture throughout the organisation. They will be responsible for implementing and monitoring safety policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and providing safety training.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and systems in compliance with local regulations and international best practices.
• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement preventative measures.
• Deliver safety training and awareness programmes to employees and contractors.
• Monitor compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training, incidents, and near misses.
• Collaborate with management and employees to promote a positive safety culture.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest health and safety legislation and best practices.
• Prepare and submit regular safety reports to management.
