Senior Quality Engineer

This role is focused on ensuring that all aspects of project delivery, from design to construction, meet the required quality standards and specifications, which is paramount for client satisfaction and contractual compliance on our allprojects.

Develop, implement, and maintain the Corporate and Project Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and project specifications.

Prepare and manage Project Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and Method Statements.

Conduct regular internal audits and process audits to ensure compliance across all project phases (design, procurement, construction).

Manage the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process, from identification and root cause analysis to corrective and preventive action closure.

Liaise with clients, consultants, and third-party inspection authorities (e.g., Royal Commission, Aramco, etc.) on all quality matters.

Oversight of quality for major disciplines : Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Piping (CSMEP).

Review and approve material submittals, contractor quality documents, and inspection reports.

Monitor the quality performance of subcontractors and suppliers.

Report on quality metrics and KPIs for project and senior management.

Education Bachelor’s Degree in civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field. A Master’s degree is a plus. Must have Engineer Status in Saudi Engineering of Council.

Certifications Certified Lead Auditor to ISO 9001 : 2015 is essential. Other certifications like CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) from ASQ are highly desirable.

Experience 10-15 years progressive quality engineering experience within the EPC / construction industry, with a proven track record on mega infrastructure projects (e.g., ports, railways, large buildings, power plants, water treatment facilities).

Regional Experience Mandatory previous experience working in the Middle East, with a strong understanding of the specific standards and client requirements in KSA, UAE, or Qatar etc.

Skills

Expert knowledge of international codes and standards (ASTM, ACI, AISC, ASME, API, etc.).

Proficient in quality management software and MS Office.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and report-writing skills in English. Arabic is a significant advantage.

Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
