We are seeking a QA Manual Tester with a solid background in manual testing, API validation, and database verification. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a deep understanding of testing processes, and the ability to collaborate closely with development and product teams to ensure high quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute manual test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Develop and maintain detailed test documentation including test cases, results, and defect reports.
  • Perform API testing to validate business logic, data flow, and integration points.
  • Verify and manipulate data using SQL or other database querying tools.
  • Participate in requirements analysis and provide feedback on testability and potential risks.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to resolve defects and improve product quality.
  • Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) support and assist in test planning.
  • Ensure all testing is aligned with defined project timelines and quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing roles, with a strong focus on manual testing.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
  • Hands on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger).
  • Ability to work with databases and execute SQL queries for validation.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying defects early.

    • Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Exposure to JIRA , TestRail , or other test management tools.
  • Understanding of CI / CD concepts and testing in DevOps environments.
