Country Manager - KSA

Deputy Manager - HR Emerging Markets & Europe at Cipla Job Purpose Liaison with Government officials / office for Localization project. Well‑versed with Manufacturing and Localization steps in KSA.

Key Accountabilities

Manage and work closely with various Government departments for company incorporation.

Maintain relationship with financial and legal consultants to obtain various licenses.

Liaise with LCGPA for mandatory listing.

Liaise with SFDA for filing and variation related queries.

Meet with MISA and MOI for loan and local licenses.

Meet with MODON for land allocation and negotiate costs.

Align with KSA Vision 2030.

Assist in hiring of local technical resources.

Conduct regular site visits with the technical team for project updates and overview.

Serve as a connector between local and India teams for technical support.

Work with various authorities to capture all incentives for localization.

Source of Market Intelligence

Keep up‑to‑date with industry trends and provide regular reports on market developments, competitor activity, and customer insights.

Use market intelligence to provide insights and recommendations to the global team on product development, pricing, and distribution strategies.

Build relationships with key stakeholders in the market and represent the company in relevant industry events.

Product Filings

Develop and maintain strong relationships with relevant authorities, such as the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the SFDA to facilitate the product registration process.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ensure timely submission of product registration applications.

Provide necessary support for product registration and approval, as required.

Skills & Knowledge Bachelor in Pharmaceutical is an added advantage.

Should have minimum 8 years experience.

Minimum 5 years sales experience in Generic Pharma company (both retail and tender experience preferred).

Strong techno‑commercial experience.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic, and multicultural environment.

Fluency in English and Arabic is required.

Experience in managing a sales team.
