Cashier - Dallah Hospital
Provide customer support at the front counter, handling cash, billing accounts receivable, and assisting with special assessment duties while implementing JCI standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide front counter customer service and cashier services to patients.
- Receive cash, issue receipts, post cash receipts to accounting system, and input payments into the special record.
- Provide cash refunds to insurance patients when hospital formulary medications are not available.
- Segregate types of prescriptions according to contract terms and send them on a daily basis to the business center.
- Develop and coordinate the Quality Improvement Program within the area of responsibility.
- Maintain a clean working environment.
- Serve as a role model and represent the department professionally.
- Adhere to the Dress and Appearance Code.
- Follow all hospital-related policies and procedures.
- Perform other applicable tasks as assigned within competence level.
- Implement departmental policies, procedures, local and international accreditation standards.
- Participate in indicator development, data collection, and performance measurement; analyze and interpret data as required.
- Participate in hospital Safety Management & Risk Management Programs, report incidents, and assist with incident review and root cause analysis.
Qualifications
Minimum of three years of post‑qualification experience in cash management, preferably in a health care setting.Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Management, Commerce, or related field.Seniority Level : Entry level
